I don't know about you but there's a lot of things I love about the midwest and winter certainly isn't one of them. Granted I do still appreciate the beauty of a fresh snow, the laughter of children playing outside, and an abundance of hot cocoa. One of the things that gets to me the most is driving during the winter. Each morning as I'm getting my child ready to scurry out the door I'm extremely thankful for heated seats. There's nothing better than hopping in the car on a cold winter morning and turning those magical seat warmers on. Then there's my remote start, get into a freezing car after work?! I think not!
Aside from the oh so fabulous features that help make my winter driving experience better each day, there's plenty more to consider when it comes to winter driving. I was reading an article earlier written by Rick Popely and thought I would share it with you folks. It is likely that I spend more time on average than others researching winter driving and car care tips. I guess you could say I want to be prepared...or that I'm terrified I will forget something and end up paying for it later. I find myself doing the dishes at night wondering if my tires are still alright, or if my wiper blades need changed. Even if you feel like you and your car are ready for winter click on the sleigh below to read Rick's article. The more we prepare for winter driving the safer we will all be. It only takes one person with bad wiper blades or tires to cause a multi car pile up on the highway. Plus you may learn something new. You never know.
